What's the story of Astral Acoustics?

Since I set foot into the audio realm,  I've been spending tons of money into upgrading my gears. And as I explored my way into building my own cables, I found out that most company has been putting the prices so high, to a point where only the richest could afford such hobby. As one of the I wanted the audio community to be more fair, where every audiophile could have access to a better enjoyment without sacrificing tons of money. I always prefer earning a piece of joy more than money.
Your current lineup, tell us about the current products you offer, and the direction they have in terms of who they are for or what they provide to the listener?

Taurus - entry-level cable, not the typical sound you'd expect from a copper cable. Superb in vocals and treble. More like a cable to redefine what copper really sound like.

Pisces - A cable with a powerful bass impact, heavily colored signature. Aimed towards ACG, metal or EDM listeners. A rather packed overall presentation.

Libra - like its sign, balance is the key here. The overall tonality is pretty much summed up with one word, balanced. The Libra pretty much delivers every genre of music smoothly with a very slight touch of warmth.

One of the most notable things about Astral Acoustics is your naming scheme is based on western Zodiac signs, any particular reason behind that?

Yes, it does. We try to name each cable according to the "personalities" which are described in the Zodiac signs. Example, Libra equals to having a balance.
Let’s talk specifically about the Taurus, it is your most affordable and accessible cable, what were the factors that made you choose those specs for your “entry” product?

Well, copper is the cheapest material that does magic when the production is right. While being our cheapest cable, I wanted to attract non-cable believers to try it out because cables do make a difference.

How about your process in making your products, what is the typical timeline of creating a custom cable by hand?

The average time for building a cable is around 4 hours, it takes a lot of time when our quality check has an OCD. So yea, I can guarantee our products are shipped out with perfect braiding and soldering, no sloppy finishes are allowed here. I also believe when people pay, they are paying not just for the materials we used, but also our passion for crafting each cable.
One thing on your website that is not always available or offered by other companies is “The Weav” what sets The Weav apart from most other common braids used in aftermarket cables?

Ah, "The Weav". Braiding plays an important role in cables because it cancels out the magnetic fields in between each wire and it also affects the cable's softness. Also not to forget the looks it provides. ;)

Do you have plans to expand your product range? Or if no hard plans even certain concepts Do you want to be able to develop?

We do. We are looking forward to testing different alloys or combinations of metals to archive certain sound signatures.

Thank you for organizing this interview for us.
